This countdown turns the confirmed reporting or departure date into whole calendar days remaining, plus weeks and days, date, and weekday. It does not know the orders, destination, unit requirements, security restrictions, family circumstances, or whether the date is provisional, so it cannot create an official deployment checklist.

A negative result only means the selected date passed; it does not indicate deployment status or completion.

How the days are counted

The count is in whole calendar days from today to the date you pick, calculated in UTC so it never drifts with time zones or daylight saving. If the date has already passed, the count shows how many days ago it was.
